What is King James Version?

The King James Version, also called the King James Bible, is the English translation and authorized version of the Church of England’s Christian Bible. King James I ascended the throne after Queen Elizabeth I died in 1603 at the age of after a reign of 45 years. The translation was completed in 1610 but was still not available to the general public. It was published by King’s personally appointed printer, Robert Barker, in the year 1611. Later, several typing errors and printing errors were found in the Bible.
