What is Fortnite?

Fortnite is an online shooter survival game developed by North Carolina-based Epic Games and released in 2017. Structured much like a battle to the death, the gameplay is primarily based on the similar concept as Hunger Games, just like the movies or books. It is a free to play game available in three different game modes – Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite: Battle Royale, and Fortnite Creative. The game begins with players being dropped onto the island of their choosing and they have to fight their way to the end until the final mission, which is to be the last man standing. In the end, there will be only one survivor. While the basic of the game remains the same in all the three versions, the difference is whether or not you are alone.

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a popular open-ended, first-person sandbox indie game with a focus on exploration and creation. Developed by Sweden-based Mojang Studios, Minecraft is one of the most successful games in the world which had been critically acclaimed by pretty much every gaming magazine and website in the world. The charming indie game is a classic take on the pop culture. The environment is randomly assembled so that no two plays are the same. The game world is virtually infinite and made of different types of blocks and each block has its own place inside the grid layout of the 3D virtual world. There is no specific goal to accomplish and the players have the freedom to choose how to play the game. The basic idea of the game is to build structures, collect items, mine minerals and fight monsters in order to survive. In the game, your avatar is called “Steve” who you need to guide throughout the virtual world.
