HTC Sensation 4G vs Samsung Galaxy S 4G
4G seems to be the new best thing in the world of mobile phones. The Sensation 4G from HTC and the Galaxy S 4G are two products that flaunt 4G in their names despite not being truly 4G compliant. The first difference you will notice between the Sensation 4G and the Galaxy s 4G is the size of their screens. The Sensation 4G screen is bigger at 4.3 inches compared to just 4 inches for the Galaxy S 4G. The resolution of the Sensation 4G is also appropriately larger than that of the Galaxy S 4G.
Another major difference between the Sensation 4G and Galaxy S 4G is under the hood. The Sensation 4G is equipped with a dual-core processor that is also clocked higher than the 1Ghz processor of the Galaxy S 4G. More processing power is desirable as it provides greater functionality and allows the Sensation 4G to run more complicated games that may not run on the Galaxy S 4G.
The Sensation 4G is also a winner when it comes to the camera as it is equipped with an 8 megapixel sensor compared to the 5 megapixel sensor on the Galaxy S 4G. The advantage also extends to video recording. The dual-core sensor of the Sensation 4G allows it to record at the full 1080p HD resolution. The Galaxy S 4G lacks the processing power to record videos at this resolution, thus it can only record a maximum of 720p.
Both the Sensation 4G and Galaxy S 4G come with very minimal amounts of internal memory and they both rely a lot on microSD cards. To compensate, both companies provide memory cards along with them. The Galaxy S 4G is the winner in this regard because it ships with a 16GB memory card compared to just 8GB of the Sensation 4G. It seems that the Sensation 4G needs to larger memory card because of the larger sizes of the videos and photos it can take.
