Nokia Lumia 720 has a great design with a slim unibody encased with a colorful outlook. It has 4.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display panel that features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels at a pixel density of 217 ppi. The display panel features Nokia ClearBlack technology introducing deep blacks and magnificent color reproduction. However it is disappointing to see that Nokia has included a WVGA display instead of the high end 720p HD display, which would make the most out of the operating system. The Corning Gorilla glass reinforcement certainly would keep the display from scratches. Nokia Lumia is powered by Qualcomm MSM8227 dual core processor clocked at 1GHz with Adreno 305 GPU and 521MB of RAM. It runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8. The internal storage amounts to 8GB with the ability to expand up to 64GB using microSD card. In fact, Nokia Lumia 720 is the first smartphone to feature microSD expansion slot in a unibody design.

Being a mid-range smartphone, Nokia Lumia 720 only features 3G HSDPA connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for continuous connectivity. It has 6.7MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus that can capture 720p HD videos @ 30 frames per second. The 1.3MP camera in the front can be used for video conferencing. Nokia made an interesting choice in including 6.7MP rear camera, as opposed to the popular 8MP cameras, but they assure that the quality of the camera is superior. The smartphone comes in White, Red, Yellow, Cyan and Black. It has 2000mAh battery and is said to offer 23 hours of 2G talk time.

Nokia Lumia 620 Review

Nokia Lumia 620 is the starter Windows Phone 8 smartphone for your kid or teenager. It can also be a smartphone for a user with relatively less needs that require computationally hungry hardware elements. As such, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Krait dual core processor clocked at 1GHz along with Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. It runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 and has 3.8 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display panel that features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels at a pixel density of 246ppi. The display panel features Nokia’s ClearBlack technology, but it is disappointing to see a lower resolution here. Then again, you can’t really expect a lot from a budget smartphone either. It comes with 8GB of internal storage with the ability to expand using microSD card up to 64GB. Lime Green particularly looks cute among the other colors it is offered such as Orange, Magenta, Yellow, Cyan, White and Black.

Nokia Lumia 620 has 5MP camera that can capture 720p HD videos @ 30 frames per second with autofocus and LED flash. The VGA front camera can be used for video conferencing. It features 3G HSDPA connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for continuous connectivity. Nokia promises a 2G talk time of 14 hours with the 1300mAh battery included in the Lumia 620.
