Motorola DEFY and Motorola DEFY+ are two mobile devices by Motorola. Motorola Defy was released in the latter part of 2010, while Motorola DEFY+ is expected to be released to the market during September 2011. Following is a review on the similarities and differences on both devices.
Motorola DEFY
Motorola DEFY is an Android phone released by Motorola during the later part of 2010. The Android phone has a WVGA (Wide VGA) with a 480 x 854 resolution. The device has a 3.7” inch display supporting multi touch. The responsiveness of the screen is also commended as very responsive. An accelerometer and proximity sensor is also available. The physical appearance of the phone appears rather rugged, but doesn’t weigh too heavy or light in hand.

Motorola DEFY+
Motorola DEFY+ is the latest Android smart phone from Motorola and it’s officially announced during August 2011. DEFY + will be officially released on September 2011. This soon to be released phone will have a 3.7″ display with 480 x 854 resolution. Similar to the earlier version of Motorola DEFY+, the screen is made from Gorilla glass suitable for rough usage. The device also comes with MOTOBLUR user interface with multi touch input, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
Motorola DEFY+ is available with 2 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM and 1 GB ROM. The device also supports 32 GB of external memory and a 2 GB micro SD card is also available. Motorola DEFY+ has an upgraded processing speed of 1 GHz which will improve the efficiency of Motorola DEFY+ in at least 25%. Continuous talk time has increased to more than 7 hours. Motorola Defy also include a 5 mega pixel rear facing camera with LED flash and Auto focus.

Commenting on the responsiveness of the Keyboard is perhaps too early as Motorola DEFY+ is not released to the market. But it’s safe to predict Motorola will include its own multi touch keyboard in this version of Motorola DEFY+ following the guide of previous version.
