LG Optimus Black

LG has recently launched its latest smartphone that boasts of NOVA display having brightness that is even better than super AMOLED screens of Galaxy series phones (700nits bright as compared with 300nits brightness of super AMOLED). There is no other phone apart from Samsung Infuse 4G that is loaded with latest and most advanced features and also provides super fast 4G speed. Everything about the phone is big apart from its size that is surprisingly small (stands 8.99mm thick). It has a huge 4.5” screen that has left super AMOLED behind as it is super AMOLED Plus. It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and has a powerful 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. This is not all as the smartphone also has a very nice camera at 8MP which is capable of recording HD videos. It also boasts of a front 1.2 MP camera for video calling. The phone is compatible with HSPA+21Mbps networks.
The phone has an internal memory available in two models with 16GB and 32 GB respectively. It is possible to expand the memory using micro SD cards. The device supports Adobe Flash 10.1 and with a browser that supports full HTML, surfing is a pleasing experience indeed. It has EDGE, GPRS, WLAN/ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
Differences between Optimus Black and Samsung Infuse 4G • The first difference that one sees at first glance is the super sized display of Infuse that stands at 4.5” in comparison to a 4” display of Optimus Black. • Black has a 1GHz processor whereas Infuse has a more powerful processor that is 1.2 GHz. • Infuse has a better rear camera at 8 MP in comparison to 5 MP camera of Optimus. However, secondary camera of Optimus is better at 2 MP in comparison to 1,3MP camera of Optimus. • Optimus has made use of NOVA technology for display whereas Infuse is using super AMOLED Plus. • Angry birds game is preloaded on infuse with an extra hidden level.
