Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 as the name suggest have 8.9 inch and 10.1 inch display. Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 are the thinnest tablets, it is only 8.6mm. HTC Flyer is the first tablet from HTC that was unveiled in Feb 2011 at the Mobile World Congress. HTC Flyer is a compact and powerful Android based tablet that features a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1.5GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 5 megapixel camera in the rear with 720p HD video recording capability and 1.3 megapixel camera in the front, dual speakers with SRS WOW HD vitrual surround sound for rich listening, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Buetooth 3.0 and weighs only 420 grams with a thickness of 0.51 inch.

HTC Flyer runs Android 2.3 with HTC sense as the user interface. HTC Sense is introducing some new features with the first HTC tablet such as HTC Watch video service, HTC Scribe Technology and OnLive cloud gaming.

The tablet also gives you the pleasure of full browsing with the Adobe Flash Flash 10 and HTML 5. For input it has a combo of on-screen virtual keypad and digital PEN. HTC Scribe Technology introduces the digital pen that make it easy and natural to take notes, sign contracts, draw pictures, or even write on a web page or photo.

HTC Sense also inroduces HTC Watch for video streaming. The HTC Watch enables users to download High-Definition movies from major studios and instant playback and instant playback over Wi-Fi.

HTC boasts about its integrated OnLive Mobile Cloud Gaming, saying that they are taking mobile gaming to an entirely new level by being the first mobile device in the world to integrate OnLive Inc.’s revolutionary cloud-based gaming service. Users can play a variety of games, including hits like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, NBA 2K11 and Lego Harry Potter.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7

Samsung Galaxy Tab is a small compact device with 7 inches TFT LCD screen, less than half an inch thickness and weighing only 0.84 lbs, but packed with many amazing features and functions. The Android based Samsung Tab runs Android 2.2, which is upgradeable to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and features, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 3.0 magapixel rear camera with the capacity to record HD video at [email protected], 16GB/32GB internal memory and microSD card slot that support expansion up to 32 GB. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is the third sibiling in the Galaxy Tab family. It is a smaller version of Galaxy 10.1 with 8.9 inch display. It’s conveniently sized in between the smaller 7″ Tab and larger 10.1″ Tab and has WXGA (1280×800) TFT LCD display with 170 PPI. Both 8.9 and 10.1 are high end tablets, giving excellent performance and awesome browsing and multi-tasking experience with tablet optimized Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and 1GHz dual core high performance processors. 1GHz dual core processor is the performance benchmark in tablet market as per today.
