Aluminum vs Wooden Bats

Wooden bats have all their weight concentrated in the barrel, and that means all the gravity is further from the hands, and the weight is not uniformly distributed. An aluminum bat’s weight is uniform, and the balance point is not in the barrel, which makes it easy to swing. The mass of the wooden bat is more concentrated, and it becomes an obstacle to get a higher bat speed. An aluminum bat is more efficient at hitting inside the pitch compared to a wooden bat, but with a disadvantage that it can dent.
