The BJP or the Bharatiya Janata Party is a major political party in India. The BJP was founded in 1983. It advocates Hindu nationalism. The BJP supports self reliant, free market economy and looks after foreign policies that are driven by the nationalist agenda and acts in creating a strong national defense. The Bharatiya Janata Party was in power from year 1998 to 2004. During that time Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister and Lal Krishna Advani was the deputy.
The Congress is a formal meeting where representatives from various countries and constituent states or even independent organization and communities. The Congress is also known as the Indian National Congress which is a major party in India. The Congress was founded in the year 1885 by Allan Octavian Hume, Dadabhai Naoroji, Dinshaw Wacha, Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee, Surendranath Banerjee, Monomohun Ghose, and William Wedderburn. The INC played the role of a great leader in relation to the Indian Independence Movement. It comprises of over 15 million members. Over 70 million participants struggled against the British Empire to free India. After India got freedom in the year 1947, the Indian National Congress became the dominant political party in India. It was led by the Nehru-Gandhi family.
In BJP, Vajpayee was mainly responsible to bring peace by his dedicated efforts with Pakistan. During the year 1999, Vajpayee rode on Delhi-Lahore bus and signed the Lahore Declaration with the Pakistan Prime Minister. Hence peace was spread all over both the countries.The Indian National Congress was developed by Mahatma Gandhi. In every state in India and union territory there is a Congress Committee. This is the provincial unit of a political party. They direct politicla campaigns at the local and state levels. They also asist in the functions of the Parliamentary Constiutencies.
The BJP has a strong connection with the Sangh Paricar. In the Sangh Parivar the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh plays primary roles. The INC has been the largest and most primary political party in India since 1947. The congress is initially a political organization. However, it has changed itself into a social structure of people who are serving towards the country’s progress. The congress assisted India in democracy and multiculturalism. This made India a consistent democratic and free country. The Congress influenced the modern Indian nation strongly and positively.
