Weed is a form of majuarana that is often considered to be mild. On the other hand, cocaine is a stronger stimulant. Unlike weed, cocaine is more powerful and strong, and also makes one mentally addictive.

One can also come across differences in their origin. Cocaine is derived from leaves of the coca plant. On the contrary, weed is a mixture of shredded leaves and flowers of hemp plants.

In usage as well, there are differences between cocaine and weed. Weed can be rolled into cigarettes and smoked. Weed can also be smoked in water pipes (bong), or can be mixed with food or taken in liquid form. The active ingredient in weed is a delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol chemical, which stimulates the brain cells.

In terms of health problems, cocaine is more detrimental when compared to weed. People using cocaine can have many more health complications when compared to people using weed, as the former one is a more powerful stimulant.

Cocaine is available in two forms – white crystalline powder and crack. The white crystalline form is cocaine hydrochloride, and crack is cocaine hydrochloride processed with ammonia/sodium bicarbonate) and water. Cocaine is normally snorted, dissolved in water or injected.

Weed is seen to grow in either hemisphere of the earth, in almost all the continents. On the other hand, cocaine grows more in the south western hemisphere.
