Difference Between Friable And Fryable (With Table)

The terms ‘friable’ and ‘fryable’ are referred to as homophones. Both the terms are adjectives and are derived from the late 15th and 13th centuries.

When someone uses friable in a sentence like “this material is friable” what they are possibly talking about is the quality of the material is deteriorating or brittle. But not to precisely fry the material in heated oil.
