Full/double beds are bigger than single beds and can accommodate two people. However, they are smaller in size than queen beds and king beds.

Sheets for a double bed or full bed is also less expensive than those for a bigger bed. Moreover, a double bed is ideal for a single sleeper who is under 5’5”. Many people use double beds in guest rooms or nurseries, but not in the master bedroom.
