HTC Pyramid and Apple iPhone 4 belong to two different generations. HTC Pyramid is the next generation phone with dual-core processors and high end features. iPhone 4 was simplify the best phone in 2010, but from Q1 2011 many new phones are introduced with dual core processors and compatible with the high speed 4G or HSPA+ networks. HTC Pyramid is one such device with 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 768MB RAM. HTC Pyramid is using the same chipset used in Evo 3D, a second generation Qualcomm MSM8660 chipset that consists 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor and Adreno 220 processor, which will deliver speed and performance efficiency with low power consumption. It also features a 4.3 inches QHD (960 x 540 pixels) display and sports 8MP camera that can capture 1080p HD videos. And it’s compatible with HSPA+ network. Whereas iPhone 4 contains 1GHz A4 processor with 512MB RAM, 3.5 inches 960 x 640 pixels display and 5MP camera. It does not support HSPA+ or 4G networks. However, the iPhone 4 display is the best in PPI, though it’s small compared to the huge 4.3″ display in HTC Pyramid. The operating system used in HTC Pyramid is the Android’s latest version for phones, Android 2.3.2. Whereas iPhone 4 runs Apple proprietary operating system, the iOS 4.2.1, which can be upgraded to the latest iOS 4.3.1.
