Matron of honor is the 2nd most important woman in the wedding and is not there just to attend to the bride as she has some important roles and responsibilities to perform from planning to the marriage ceremony itself. She is the person who arranges the bridal shower and keeps note of the gifts given to the bride. When it comes to the planning, she is involved in sending out invitations, choosing and helping in decoration of the venue where the event is going to take place. She even rehearses with the bride so as to make her feel more confident. The most important thing to remember is that the matron of honor is a title that is given to the most important of the bridesmaid and is a married woman.
