Molasses is also extensively known as black treacle. Molasses can be defined as a sticky and gummy material that is left behind from purifying sugar beets or sugarcane into sugar. Molasses distinguishes in the quantity of sugar, the procedure of extracting, and the lifetime or duration of plant or tree.

Molasses is considered to have the strongest flavor of most of the other syrups available in the market. Molasses is also rich in providing various distinct nutrients to our body. 22 percent of water is noticed in Molasses whereas carbohydrates are noticed in molasses for 75 percent. Molasses also contain fat but in very small quantity which is just about 0.1 percent. Many sources claim that Molasses proves to be healthier and full of flavor compared to sugar.
