Difference Between Movies and Books

Movies vs books

To even tackle the difference between a movie and a book is a mortal sin. You just cannot compare and contrast movies from books because it would be saying or identifying the best bunch of the two. And you really can’t tell the best bunch of the two no matter how conclusive your defense might be. If you do it would be like desecrating Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting or castrating Michelangelo’s David. Both are eternal works of art no matter who was the artist behind it.

Books and movies are works of art shared to people who want to escape their reality. It offers a whole new different kind of voyeurism where only the eyes and the mind can travel and unravel. Every page from the book or every scene from the movie offers a whole new world that appeal to a person’s most inner desires. However, its roles travel deeply than that. Both movies and books have changed governments, toppled corrupt officials, helped break CIA’s deepest darkest secrets, freed a country from long time tyranny, educated even the most dullest of minds, created cutting edge weaponry for wars, and will help unlock a new world for the future. Books and movies are both open ended tunnels that not only lets the audiences in and out, but also the creators. It’s a channel for everyone’s creativity. It’s a scapegoat that is appreciated and paid for by the public. Both may sometimes be based on real life events but most of the time, the real world abides by the movie it just saw or the book it just read.
