The main difference between reactants and products is that the starting agent for a chemical reaction is reactants. Products are the chemical species found after the reaction has been completed. Therefore, due to the kind of reaction, it involves the same reactant that often gives different products. The biggest distinction is that reactants are absorbed during the reaction, while compounds are produced from the reaction.

What are Reactants?
